Ingredients

Scale
  • 10.5 ounces penne pasta
  • 8.8 ounces shrimp, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1.5 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté peeled shrimp with Cajun seasoning in a skillet over medium heat until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked penne, sautéed shrimp, Alfredo sauce, and diced bell pepper until thoroughly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbling.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the level of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, you can use a low-fat Alfredo sauce.
  • This dish can be easily made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
