Description
A refreshing and nutrient-dense smoothie combining the sweetness of blueberries and mango with the health benefits of spirulina.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe mango peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
- 1 cup coconut milk or any milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
- A handful of ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: If you haven’t done so already, peel and dice the mango, and gather the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend the Base: In a blender, add the frozen blueberries, fresh mango, and the spirulina powder.
- Add the Liquid: Pour in the coconut milk. If you like a thicker smoothie, use less milk; for a thinner consistency, add more.
- Sweeten It Up: If desired, add honey or agave syrup for natural sweetness. Feel free to adjust according to your taste.
- Ice, Ice Baby (Optional): For a frosty bite, toss in the ice cubes and blend until smooth.
- Blend Away: Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds or until you achieve a creamy, smooth texture.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately. You can garnish it with some fresh blueberries or a slice of mango for an extra touch!
Notes
- For a vegan option, use agave syrup instead of honey.
- Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
- Fresh fruits can be used instead of frozen but may require additional ice for a cold smoothie.
