- 1 can crescent roll dough (8 oz)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using).
- Spread a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on each crescent roll triangle.
- Add a spoonful of blueberry preserves (or fresh blueberries) on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Carefully roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wide edge.
- Place the rolls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the crescent rolls for a golden finish.
- If desired, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before baking.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden and puffed up.
Notes
- For a more intense lemon flavor, increase the lemon zest.
- Serve warm for the best texture and taste.
