Description

A delicious twist on breakfast with biscuits and sausage gravy served on a pizza.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust, 12-inch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, optional
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or more as desired

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring until fully browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir until smoothly incorporated. Gradually pour in 2 cups of milk, stirring frequently. Continue to cook until the gravy thickens to your liking, about 10 minutes. Season the gravy with ground black pepper to taste.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lay the pizza crust on a baking sheet and lightly brush the surface with olive oil if using. Evenly spread half of the sausage gravy over the crust.
  3. Spray another large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Whisk together the eggs and 1/4 cup milk in a bowl, then pour into the hot skillet. Scramble the eggs, stirring until they are just set, about 5 minutes.
  4. Spoon the scrambled eggs over the gravy-covered crust. Generously sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Place the pizza in the oven and bake until the crust turns golden and the cheese is bubbly, 10-15 minutes.
