Description

BBQ Cheddar Bacon Bombs are savory and delicious meatballs wrapped in crispy bacon and filled with melted cheddar cheese, perfect for any barbecue or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb ground beef

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to heat up to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, throw together the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Take bits of the mixture and mold them around small pieces of cheddar cheese.
  4. Wrap a piece of bacon tightly around each meatball.
  5. Arrange everything on a baking tray, slather BBQ sauce on top, and bake for about 25-30 minutes until the bacon gets crispy.
  6. Serve them up nice and warm.

Notes

  • Make sure the bacon is tightly wrapped to prevent cheese from leaking out during cooking.
  • You can adjust the spices based on your preference.
  • These bombs can also be grilled for a different flavor.
