Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
