Description

Delicious Bacon Cheeseburger Rolls filled with ground beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, and veggies, all wrapped in golden dough.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast (roughly 2 ¼ tsp)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup diced tomato, drained
  • 1 cup chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Blend flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a big bowl. Pour in olive oil and warm water, stirring until it starts turning into dough.
  2. Take the dough out onto a floured counter and knead until nice and soft. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it turns brown. Add a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. Drain any extra grease, then put the beef aside.
  4. Roll your dough into a rectangle. Evenly sprinkle the beef, bacon, onion, tomato pieces, and cheddar over the dough.
  5. Roll it up tightly like a log, then slice into 12 even pieces.
  6. Place the slices snugly in a greased dish.
  7. Cook in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for around 25 minutes or until beautifully golden.
  8. Give them a chance to cool down a bit before serving. Add any sauces or toppings you like when eating.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite toppings.
  • For a spicy kick, consider adding jalapeños.
  • Serve with ketchup or your preferred dipping sauce.
