Description

A delicious and hearty twist on a classic cheeseburger, this Bacon Cheeseburger Pie is perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup Bisquick (or similar baking mix)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked; drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Spread beef mixture in the pie dish. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese (and mozzarella if using) on top.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together milk, Bisquick, and eggs until smooth. Pour evenly over the beef and cheese mixture.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the pie is set. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • You can add your favorite toppings such as pickles or tomatoes after baking for extra flavor.
