Description

Bacon Caramel Cheesecake Bliss is a decadent dessert that combines the richness of cheesecake with the sweet and savory flavors of bacon and caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup prepared caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, finely crumbled
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Sea salt, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until evenly moistened. Press mixture firmly and evenly into the base of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until completely smooth.
  3. Blend in sour cream, mixing until the batter is uniform and creamy.
  4. Add eggs to the mixture one at a time, mixing gently on low speed after each addition just until incorporated.
  5. Stir in caramel sauce and 1/2 cup finely crumbled bacon until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Place pan in a preheated 325°F oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
  8. Turn off oven and crack the oven door open; allow cheesecake to cool gradually inside the oven for 1 hour.
  9. Transfer pan to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until completely set.
  10. Heat heavy cream just until steaming, then pour over chopped chocolate. Allow to stand for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy. Pour ganache over chilled cheesecake.
  11. Sprinkle remaining crumbled bacon and a pinch of sea salt evenly over the ganache before serving.

Notes

  • Chilling overnight enhances the flavors and texture of the cheesecake.
  • For extra richness, use high-quality chocolate for the ganache.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of bacon based on personal preference.
