Description

Alfredo Chicken Grilled Cheese is a delicious and indulgent sandwich that combines tender shredded chicken coated in creamy Alfredo sauce, layered with provolone cheese, and grilled to perfection on toasted white bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the shredded cooked chicken with Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
  2. Place a slice of provolone cheese on two slices of white bread. Top each with the chicken Alfredo mixture, then layer with the remaining provolone. Cover with the remaining bread slices.
  3. Butter the outer sides of each sandwich. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches until both sides are golden brown and cheese is fully melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Notes

  • For a closer flavor to traditional Alfredo sauce, you can use homemade Alfredo instead of store-bought.
  • Feel free to add additional seasonings like garlic powder or black pepper to the chicken mixture for extra flavor.
  • These sandwiches can be customized with different cheeses as per your preference.
